To increase this knowledge[ | ]

To increase the Forging skill, you will need to perform the following tasks:

Ranking Tasks
Consume Frozen Crystal Ore
Craft Forging Items

Skill Ranks[ | ]

Each rank has certain prerequisites to obtain (mostly player level and the previous Rank in order to complete). In order to attain the first Rank and be able to craft the Refining Forge, you will have to find and consume 10 of the Frozen Crystal Ore. On Archos, these can be found in the Ice Cave. There is a cluster just beyond the metal grate wall that can be retrieved with relatively little risk. The second rank is best achieved through a combination of further consumption of these crystals, and the manufacture of Refining Forges.
